Date-Specific Records

(Page Down for a Complete List of Records.)

This page has been established to list the variety of "date-specific" documents that are available in Knox County through the Knox County Genealogical Society, Galesburg Public Library, Knox College Seymour Library, Western Illinois University Library, and other sources.  These documents are unique in that they provide information about individuals and families as of a fairly specific point in time.  Links directly to the documents or their indexes have been provided whenever they are available on-line.

If you have a date-specific document of any type that you think would be of interest to others, you can send it to a site coordinator listed at the bottom of this page for inclusion in our list.  RootsWeb - the oldest and largest FREE genealogy site - also welcomes data contributions for their searchable databases.  Go to their Data Contributors site for details about contributing to them.
